Anh Le was born and raised in Trau Quy, a small and lovely town in the suburbs of Hanoi, Vietnam. Growing up in Vietnam during the integration period, Anh has an open mind to learning new cultures from different countries and is passionate about bringing Vietnamese culture closer to international friends. Through the lens of a Vietnamese girl, she longs to share her unique Vietnam from the little beautiful things, such as acts of kindness to people on the streets, showing an example of heartwarming care of Vietnamese people not only in difficulty but also in daily life. Anh truly sees the beauty in the Vietnamese language, which plays a significant role in bridging the gap between Vietnamese culture and foreigners' cultures. She likes to share the slices of life in Vietnam through songs, poems, and stories in her Vietnamese lessons with students at IU. She is an English lecturer at Hanoi University of Industry, where she has wonderful students and colleagues who are her mood-boosting vitamins to work every day. She loves reading books, wandering around by bus, and spending time binge-watching Korean dramas.
