Berlin Adi Pranedya is one of the grantees of the 2019 Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program. He is now teaching Bahasa Indonesia for the elementary and intermediate level at Indiana University. In Indonesia, he works as a Bahasa Indonesia instructor at Wisma Bahasa, a prestigious language institution in Yogyakarta. He has been teaching Bahasa Indonesia since 2013. He applied for the FLTA program at Indiana University to share the beauty of the Indonesian language and to advance a true understanding of the language and culture. He expects to gain more experience and knowledge about U.S. education systems, particularly the learning atmosphere of the language classes in the U.S, including curricula, approaches, and learning techniques. After finishing the FLTA program, he plans to conduct workshops and presentations to share his experience with fellow language teachers, especially Bahasa Indonesia teachers in Indonesia. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Language Education (Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris) from Sanata Dharma University, Indonesia in 2013.
