Supat Poonchuay (Neung) was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. He earned his B.A. in English from the Faculty of Humanities at Kasetsart University and his M.A. in English Language Studies from the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Thammasat University. With an unwavering passion for English language education, his academic interests revolve around Language and identity, Critical perspectives in ELT, and English language teacher education.
Currently, Supat is a 2023–2024 Fulbright grantee under the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program (FLTA). He is fulfilling his responsibilities by teaching Elementary and Intermediate Thai language courses at Indiana University, Bloomington. As a foreign language instructor, Supat is determined to bring the wonders of his cultural heritage to life while also seeking to immerse himself in foreign cultures and foster mutual understanding between Thailand and the United States.
