Wichanon Phongjit, also known as Ajarn Jiew, was born and raised in Tak, Thailand. He received a M.A in Applied Linguistics from King’s Mong Kurt University Technology Thailand in 2015. He is an English lecturer in the Department of General Education at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University Maesot, Thailand. He has taught English for approximately 8 years in Thailand. His main interests include discourse analysis, linguistic description, and teaching pedagogy. He is a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant 2022 - 2023 (FLTA) supported by the Fulbright scholarship, which is awarded by Thailand-United States Educational Foundation. With the Fulbright scholarship, He is able to study and teach Thai language for nine months at Indiana University-Bloomington, Indiana, USA.
