Wertheim Lecture: Matthew Isaac Cohen

The 2022 Wertheim Lecture in Comparative Drama is set for Thursday, April 7th at 5:30 p.m. in the IMU’s Federal Room. This year’s lecture will be given by Matthew Isaac Cohen:“Come like shadows, so depart!” Notes towards a Global History of Shadow Theatre.

The Albert Wertheim Lecture in Comparative Drama is presented by the Department of Comparative Literature and was established in memory of our colleague, Albert Wertheim, and his contributions to the fields of English, Theatre and Drama, and Comparative Literature. This lecture seeks to bring scholars to Indiana University with various approaches to the comparative and interdisciplinary study of drama.
